My Story

Since 2013, I have chased comic books & other vintage nerdery. It’s an obsession. It started in my family’s antique store in Springfield, Ohio - Vintage Depot - when I stumbled across a collection with some of the most rare and valuable comic books on the market. We dedicated a backroom to comics & vintage vinyl. I quickly outgrew that space. I opened an online store via eBay, Amazon, and private groups on Facebook. On occasion, I attend some of the biggest comic book conventions in the country buying, selling, and trading. I love the thrill of the hunt. While this isn’t my full-time gig, it’s more than a hobby. It’s a lifestyle.

Central City Comic Books has a focus on back issue & vintage comic books as well as comic book related memorabilia. We curate an eclectic mix of titles helping nerds fulfill their collection with rare, hard to find items.

I love EVERYTHING about comic books and because of that, I don’t have a specialty. I buy, sell, and trade almost anything pertaining to geek culture. From Golden Age to Copper Age comic books, Pulps, Magazines, Posters, Action Figures, Trade Paper Backs, Hardcover Books, to Retail Standees…my inventory runs the gamut.
